Is it because it is simply satisfying? Or, is it just the tradition? " Chocolate’s connection to Valentine’s Day is a prime example of virtue finding its just reward, although it took centuries for the two essentials elements the rise of chocolate as a popular food, and the celebration of Valentine’s Day as a holiday to join forces. In time though, chocolate made its way to the masses.

The day of romance was born anew as a commercial holiday. Since then, the day is not only about buying cheesy cards to pass around your Third grade class, but it’s also about buying flowers, candy, jewelry, and trying unsuccessfully to get reservations at halfway-decent restaurants. what is valentine’s day to you?
